Life Legacy


Victor Emanuel Napier was born June 12, 1958 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at St. John Hospital. He was the youngest son of five children born to Daniel and Artie Napier. His father and oldest sister, Anita, preceded him in death. At an early age he became a member of St. Andrew Baptist Church.

Victor was a member of the 1976 graduating class from Booker T. Washington and attended the University of Oklahoma. He later enlisted with the U.S. Air Force where he was a Staff Sargent Logistics Officer and served for over 13 years. Victor was a war Veteran of Dessert Storm. During his military service Victor was awarded the following awards: AF Commendation Medal, Outstanding Unit Award, Organizational Excellence Award, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Oversees Short Tour Ribbon, Overseas Long Tour Ribbon, and Longevity Service Award Ribbon.

On November 6th, 2012, the Lord called Victor home. He leaves to mourn: mother, Artie V. Napier of Tulsa, OK; one brother, Daniel Napier of Tulsa, OK; two sisters, Marie Walker (Vernon) of Louisville, KY and Donna Walker (Darryl) of Tulsa, OK; brother and sister, Webster & Barbara Tottress; aunts Sarah Jumper and Josephine Johnson of Tulsa; uncle Ross Johnson of Kansas City, MO and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
